Our Foundation
The Heart of Our Business
We are a society of planners. We plan for the day with our daily planners, we write business and marketing plans, we plan for success, we plan for retirement, we plan for the future, we plan a vacation and we even plan for physical death.
We have a plan for almost everything and yet are we ready?" The word "ready" means completely prepared or in fit condition for immediate action or use. The word "plan" refers to a scheme of actions arranged to achieve a definite purpose.
For those of you who do not know Industrial Consultants, LLC, we work with companies like yours to assist with planning to be ready for situations that may arise affecting their employees and the communities that surround them.
These companies take on this responsibility primarily due to the authority of law that gives them the guidelines to be ready for and properly train their people. OSHA or EPA specifies certain types of planning and preparedness that must be completed through their directives which are the guidelines to use when training and preparing the facility.
If OSHA decides to perform an inspection of a company, they will inspect the company using a Code of Federal Regulations and a compliance directive, which specifies to the company what has to be done so they are compliant with the law.
If the company does not comply, there is usually a citation issued that the company will have to pay since they were not prepared or did not have the proper planning done when OSHA or the EPA did their unplanned or surprise inspection.
Basically, what we have is a law that brings consequences when people or companies are not prepared or ready for the eventual inspection or accident investigation brought to them by OSHA and EPA law. You say, well all that is nice, but what does that have to do with me today?
Matthew 25:10-13 - 10 But as they went away to buy, the bridegroom came, and the ones that were ready went in with him to the wedding feast, and the door was shut. 11 Afterward's come also the rest of the virgins, saying, Lord, Lord, open to us; 12 but he answering said, Verily I say unto you, I do not know you. 13 Watch therefore, for ye know not the day or the hour.
Jesus is telling you, that there is a time that He will be coming and you must be prepared. Therefore, just like our clients who are obligated to abide under certain laws or directives, you must also prepare and plan for an inspection and judgment by certain laws.
Now, let us ask you a couple of questions. Are you aware there are directives or laws that govern your spiritual life and must be addressed in this physical life and possibly today? Are you ready to meet God? If you're not sure, then you should continue reading this article.
Directive One: God loves you and offers a wonderful plan for your life.
God's Love:
John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish, but have eternal life
Most people know this verse but do they really understand and relate to it?
God's Plan:
John 10:10 (Christ speaking) "I came that they might have life, and might have it abundantly" (that it might be full and meaningful).
So then, why is it that most people are not experiencing the abundant life? Because of law two!
Directive Two: Man is sinful and separated from God. Therefore, he cannot know and experience God's love and plan for their life.
Man Is Sinful:
Romans 3:23 "For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God"
Man was created to have fellowship with God; but, because of his stubborn self-will, he chose to go his own independent way and fellowship with God was broken. This self-will, characterized by an attitude of active rebellion or passive indifference, is evidence of what the Bible calls sin.
Man Is Separated:
Romans 6:23 "For the wages of sin is death" (spiritual separation from God)
God is holy and man is sinful. A great gulf separates the two... man is continually trying to reach God and the abundant life through his own efforts, such as a good life, philosophy, or religion. The third law explains the only way to bridge this gulf.
Directive Three: Jesus Christ is God's only provision for man's sin. Through Him you can know and experience God's love and plan for your life.
He Died in Your Place:
Romans 5:8 "But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us"
Christ was the final sacrifice for sin. No more sacrifices!
He Rose from the Dead:
1 Corinthians. 15:3–6 "Christ died for our sins... He was buried... He was raised on the third day, according to the Scriptures... He appeared to Peter, then to the twelve. After that He appeared to more than five hundred... "
God has bridged the gulf, which separates us from God by sending His Son, Jesus Christ, to die on the cross in our place to pay the penalty for our sins. If Christ would have only died and not rose from the dead, we probably would be worshiping a grave like so many other religions do. The resurrection, victory over death sets Christ apart from any other religious leader in the history of the world.
Finally, it is not enough just to know these three laws?
Directive Four: You must receive Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord; then you can know and experience God's love and plan for your life.
You Must Receive Christ:
John 1:12 "But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, even to those who believe in His name" How do we receive Him?
You Receive Christ through Faith:
Ephesians 2:8, 9 "For by grace you have been saved through faith; and that no of yourselves, it is the gift of God; not as a result of works, that no one should boast"
You Receive Christ and Experience a New Birth:
John 3:1–6 "But there was a man from among the Pharisees, his name Nicodemus, a ruler of the Jews; 2 he came to him by night, and said to him, Rabbi, we know that thou art come a teacher from God, for none can do these signs that thou doest unless God be with him. 3 Jesus answered and said to him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee; except any one is born anew he cannot see the kingdom of God. 4 Nicodemus says to him, "How can a man be born being old? Can he enter a second time into the womb of his mother and be born? 5 Jesus answered, Verily, verily; I say unto thee, except any one is born of water and of Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. 6 That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.
Now, you don't have to be a scholar or PhD to decipher these directives, they are very simple to understand. It does not take years of study or experience; it does not specify any physical attractiveness or a certain amount of money on your part. It only specifies that you have an understanding of your spiritual condition without Jesus Christ and you must believe that He did the planning and preparedness for you. All you have to do is believe.
Acts 16:25-34 25 And at midnight Paul and Silas, in praying, were praising God with singing, and the prisoners listened to them. 26 And suddenly there was a great earthquake, so that the foundations of the prison shook, and all the doors were immediately opened, and the bonds of all loosed. 27 And the jailer being awakened out of his sleep, and seeing the doors of the prison opened, having drawn a sword was going to kill himself, thinking the prisoners had fled. 28 But Paul called out with a loud voice, saying, Do thyself no harm, for we are all here. 29 And having asked for lights, he rushed in, and, trembling, fell down before Paul and Silas. 30 And leading them out said, Sirs, what must I do that I may be saved? 31 And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus and thou shalt be saved, thou and thy house. 32 And they spoke to him the word of the Lord, with all that were in his house. 33 And he took them the same hour of the night and washed them from their stripes; and was baptized, he and all his straight way. 34 And having brought them into his house he laid the table for them, and rejoiced with his entire house, having believed in God.
What happened here? After the earthquake, the Spirit of God spoke to a jailer and the jailer realized his condition. For you see, it's a simple question, that's asked by the jailer to Paul and Silas.
Their answer is very simple with nothing elaborate, no seminar to go to or no special planning on the part of the jailer. Paul and Silas had no books and tapes to sell the jailer; nothing except "Believe on the Lord Jesus."
There is another law that all people who read this message must deal with and that is the law of mortality. Hebrews 9:27 It is appointed unto man once to die, but after this the judgment.
The law has been revealed to you and this is the same law that will be used to inspect your life. When will this inspection happen to you? No person knows the time, it happens when death taps you on the shoulder or Jesus comes back for His people.
Are you ready? Does your planning for your personal after death experience include acceptance of Jesus Christ into your life?
Debbie and I were walking through a church a few weeks ago in Easton, MD. The church was very old; it had much tradition and many of the religious symbols you would find in a church that was 150 years old. The stained glass told stories of the saints, the pipe organ and the choir area was trimmed with wood and brass that hinted at beautiful music to offer praises to God; the building just made me feel like I was in a house of God. However, all the religious symbols, stories and tradition mean nothing without belief in Jesus Christ.
So what is God's question to you today? Are you ready to meet God?
2 Peter 3:9 "The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some count slackness, but is long suffering toward us, not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance." God is willing that none should perish and I know that if He were present today He would say again, I wish we'd all been ready.
You Can Receive Christ Right Now by Faith through Prayer. God knows your heart and is not as concerned with your words as He is with the attitude of your heart.
The following is a suggested prayer:
"Lord Jesus, I need you. Thank You for dying on the cross for my sins. I open the door of my life and receive You as my Savior and Lord. Thank You for forgiving my sins and giving me eternal life. Make me the kind of person you want me to be."
Does this prayer express the desire of your heart?
If it does, when you prayed this prayer, Jesus will come into your life, as He promised. If you have any further questions or would like more information please email us at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it..
