Carter Blubaugh

Carter joined Industrial Consultants LLC after earning his Bachelor of Science degree from University of Arkansas. He brings a methodical, detail-oriented approach to every client engagement, assisting organizations with Process Safety Management (PSM) programs and conducting Mechanical Integrity inspections. Carter is committed to developing, managing, and communicating effective safety processes that help protect employees on the job so they can safely return home to their families each day.

Outside of work, Carter enjoys spending time outdoors, hunting deer and hogs on his family ranch in southern Oklahoma, and making the most of time with family and friends.

My Favorite Part of the Job
My favorite part of the job is learning the stories of the people I work with around the country. Every facility, company, and team has its own unique culture, challenges, and experiences, and I enjoy getting to know the individuals behind the work. Whether it’s hearing how someone got started in the industry, learning about a family business that has been passed down through generations, or simply understanding what motivates a team to take pride in what they do, those conversations are the most rewarding part of my career. Traveling to different locations and building relationships with people from all walks of life has given me a deeper appreciation for the industries we serve and the hardworking individuals who keep them running every day.

One Thing I wish more companies did better
One thing I wish more companies did better is organization of PSM (Process Safety Management) documentation. Whether programs are completed via physical documentation or digitally, I find that companies who prioritize organization of documentation greatly enhance their ability to implement their programs successfully.
