Four Decades of Service
Industrial Consultants, LLC was founded in 1987 with a simple focus: provide quality ammonia safety training to the people working around industrial refrigeration systems.
As the needs of our customers grew, so did we.
Ammonia safety training led to hazardous materials and emergency response training. That work grew into Process Safety Management and Risk Management Program support, and over the years we continued expanding our services to meet the needs of the facilities and people we work with.
Today, Industrial Consultants provides turnkey PSM/RMP consulting, hazardous materials training, EHS consulting, and safety training to customers across all 50 states and into Canada.
Industrial ammonia refrigeration is still a major part of who we are. It is where our company started, and it remains one of our strongest areas of expertise. However, our work now reaches well beyond refrigeration. We support companies in a variety of industries that operate highly hazardous processes, manage complex regulatory requirements, or simply need a dependable partner to help strengthen their safety and environmental programs.
We have always believed compliance should be practical.
Our job is not just to tell a customer what a regulation says. We want to help them understand what it means for their facility, what needs to be done, and how to put a program in place that actually works.
That may mean developing or maintaining a PSM/RMP program, facilitating a Process Hazard Analysis, conducting a compliance audit, performing a Mechanical Integrity inspection, training operators and emergency responders, or providing ongoing EHS support.
Some customers call us for a single training class or project. Others rely on our team monthly and even year after year to help manage their PSM, RMP, training, and EHS needs. In either case, our approach is the same: be responsive, provide practical guidance, and do work our customers can depend on.
Nearly four decades after Industrial Consultants began as an ammonia safety training company, our purpose remains much the same — helping people work safely and helping companies make sense of compliance.
