Blake Vandegrift is the Managing Partner of Industrial Consultants, where he helps organizations operating in high-hazard industries develop practical, engineering-based solutions for process safety, regulatory compliance, and operational reliability.
With more than 10 years of experience in Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) and Process Safety Management (PSM), Blake has supported clients across the oil and gas, chemical, food processing, cold storage, pharmaceutical, and water treatment industries. A significant portion of his work focuses on industrial ammonia refrigeration systems and other complex industrial processes where safety, uptime, and compliance are critical to successful operations.
Blake earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental, Health and Safety from Northeastern State University. Early in his career, he trained under the mentorship of a chemical engineer and a RETA-authorized instructor, building a strong foundation in industrial refrigeration safety, system operations, and process safety principles.
As an OSHA Authorized General Industry Trainer, Blake delivers OSHA 10- and 30-hour training programs designed to help organizations strengthen safety culture, improve hazard recognition, and maintain regulatory compliance in demanding industrial environments.
