Scott joins Industrial Consultants LLC with an Associate of Science degree in Safety Technology/Industrial Safety from Shepherd University. This degree provided a strong foundation in occupational safety principles, risk management, and industrial safety practices. His academic background was further strengthened through a one-year internship in a hospital Safety and Security Department, where he gained practical experience in emergency preparedness, workplace safety, and facility security operations.

Following this, Scott gained valuable leadership experience over three years as Head of Safety and Security for a large corporation. In this role, his responsibilities included overseeing safety and security operations, supporting regulatory compliance, and promoting a safe and secure work environment for employees and visitors.

My Favorite Part of the Job:
I love returning to a facility and getting to see how much the team has improved from the previous time I was there. Sometimes that looks like improved time to organize and set up for an emergency response drill, while other times, I can see updates to the policies and procedures they have put into practice. That growth year after year continues to build, making a facility and its employees safer.

I also enjoy getting to know and teaching new students, many of whom are brand new to the industry itself. Teaching them how to protect themselves and to be successful during an emergency response makes this more than a job. It’s meaningful and impactful, and gives weight to the importance of what we do at Industrial Consultants.
